Publications Plans for JCIS2007

All Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings to be published by a reputable publisher. As in JCIS2006, the proceedings will be indexed by EI-index, Compendex, and the ISI-Proceedings. All track chairs and leadership are working very hard for an ambitious post publication program in which as many as high quality papers will appear in reputable journals with SCI-citations such as Information Science Journal, or the like.

JCIS has a track record of publishing selected papers in international journals. Please make sure to check it out on the section entitled CITATIONS & PUBLICATIONS of this same web site.

Atlantis Press has announced for quite sometimes now that the JCIS Proceedings of the 9th JCIS have been available at the following URL: http://www.atlantis-press.com/publications/aisr/jcis-06. The proceedings will be indexed by Elsevier after January 1, 2007.

Sometimes, the SI, Special Issues,may not appear immediately, but with some delay! Here are some examples of many excellent publications, most of them SCI-cited, derived from previously held JCIS. There are: a SI issue will appear in the Biomolecular Engineering Journal under the leadership of Dr. David K. Y. Chiu, chair of CBGI in 2005. An excellent book entitled "Chance Discovery", consisting many excellent papers, has been published by Springer-Verlags. An excellent volume entitled "Why Fuzzy Logic? -- A Spectrum of Theoretical & Pragmatics Issues" will soon be published by Springer-Verlags., of which several chapters are the extensions of the p0papers presented at previous JCIS. So far as the post conference programs are concerned, the leaders group of JCIS will have even more ambitious plan with the goal of achieving as many SCI-cited papers as possible!

Under the leadership of Dr. Cengiz Kahraman, two SI's are under planning for the track FT&T which so happen to celebrate the 12th Anniversary under JCIS activities. One SI will be proposed to INS Journal which is both EI- and SCI-cited and another one will be with Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems with Dr Reza Langari as EiC.New initiative publications of 'Critical Reviews' under the sponsorship of SMU, Society for Mathematics of Uncertainty, has been submitted to WSPC, World Scientific Publishing Company for possible publication,and the list goes on!
