Call for Papers

Please visit Conference Tracks for specific Call for Papers (CFP) information for the individual conferences, workshops and symposiums.

 

General Information:

Paper format and length:
All papers must be in Word or PDF format and may not exceed 4 pages in length, including figures, tables and references. Any papers exceeding 4 pages will be charged a $50 fee per additional page. Papers should be formatted with double columns and should be single-spaced in a 10 point font such as Times Roman. See paper template.

Paper review:
All papers will be reviewed by review panels for the respective conference, workshop or symposium.

Paper publication:
All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings to be published by Atlantic Press of Paris, France. The proceedings will be indexed by EI-index, Compendex, and ISI-Proceedings.

JCIS has a tradition of publishing selected papers in international journals. All researchers interested in JCIS are urged to view (under CITATIONS & PUBLICATIONS of this web site) the splendid records of Special Issues related to past JCIS conferences and published in International Journal of Information Sciences Journal by Elsevier (SCI and EI cited) and in New Mathematics and Natural Computation Journal by World Scientific Press. Via the efforts of Atlantis Press, additional two reputable SCI cited journals will publish special issues from this year's selected papers.

Important Dates:

April 15, 2006:

Paper due (Extended from March 1, 2006)

June 10, 2006:

Notification of acceptance sent to authors

June 10, 2006:

Invitation letters sent to authors of invited papers

July 15, 2006:

Invited papers due

July 15, 2006:

Final camera ready papers due

July 20, 2006:

Deadline for authors with accepted and invited papers to register and submit the minimum US$320 publication fee/registration deposit or early discounted registration fees.
