Soft-computing techniques have been widely and successfully used in a variety of fields. Soft computing differs from conventional (hard) computing in that, unlike hard computing, it is tolerant of imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth, and approximation. This special session aims at promoting the exchange of ideas not only techniques but also applications of soft computing. Submissions that include technique innovation and real applications are all welcome.
Topics:
Fuzzy systems
Rough sets
Neural Networks
Evolutionary Computation
