CSI 2006 Call For Papers

Special Session on Data Mining
in
The 9th International Conference on Computer Science and Informatics (CSIĄŻ2006)
in conjunction with
The 9th Joint Conference on Information Sciences

Please send the electronic version of your paper to Dr. Weider Yu (Weider.Yu@sjsu.edu) by May 15, 2006 in Word or PDF format, written in English, and limited to 4 pages. Any papers exceeding 4 pages will be charged a $50 fee per additional page. Papers should be formatted with double columns and should be single-spaced in a 10 point font such as Times Roman. All submissions will be reviewed by the program committee and the authors will be informed of the result of the review by the June 15, 2006. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings (ISIP and EI cited). A selected number of accepted papers will be expanded and revised for possible inclusion in Journal of Information Sciences (SCI cited) and other international journals such as New Mathematics and Natural Computation. Some of these selected papers will also be considered to be included in a book volume published by an internationally renowned publisher. We are currently in the process of applying SCI or SCI Expanded.

CSI is one of track of JCIS. JCIS has ISIP citation for many years. Elsevier has accepted the JCISĄŻs application for EI indexing.
