10th International Conference on Computer Science & Informatics

Special Session: Pervasive Computing & Communications

Call For Paper

Pervasive computing and communications are emerging technologies that aim at providing services anywhere, at anytime. This emergence is a natural outcome of the recent advances in wireless networks, mobile computing, sensor networks, distributed computing, and agent technologies. This special session will provide a high profile, leading edge forum for researchers and engineers alike to present their latest research in the field of pervasive computing and communications. Topics of interest include, but not limited to the following:

Topics:

1. Pervasive computing and communication architectures

2. Smart devices and intelligent environments

3. Wearable computers

4. Middleware services and agent technologies

5. Ad Hoc networks for pervasive communications

6. Sensor and RFID in pervasive systems

7. Positioning and tracking technologies

8. Virtual immersive communications

9. Enabling technologies (e.g. wireless BAN, PAN)

10. Mobile/Wireless computing systems and services in pervasive computing

11. Context aware computing

12. Autonomic computing and communications

13. Programming paradigms for pervasive systems

14. User interfaces and interaction models

15. Trust, security and privacy issues in pervasive systems
